Delete your GobbleGo™ account

You can delete your GobbleGo™ account — and the personal data tied to it — at any time, even if you've uninstalled the app. GobbleGo™ is developed by GobbleGo™ LLC.

Two ways to delete your account

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account and follow the prompts.

Use the form below. We'll email a verification code to confirm the account is yours, then schedule the deletion.

What happens when you delete

Your account is scheduled for permanent removal after a 30-day grace period. If you sign back in to GobbleGo™ during those 30 days, your account is restored and the deletion is cancelled. After the grace period ends, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

What we delete

your name, username, and profile photo
your email address and phone number
your restaurant swipes and votes
your friends and friend connections
your saved party presets
your notifications and push-notification tokens

What we keep, and why

Shared activity

Parties and group chats you took part in are shared with other members. We keep these so others don't lose their history, but we remove your identity — your name no longer appears and your messages show as from a deleted user.

Anonymous usage data

We keep aggregate, de-identified analytics and error reports to improve the app. Before retention we strip the identifiers that link this data to you, so it can no longer be associated with you or your device.

We do not retain your personal data after deletion except as described above, or where we are required to keep it for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes. For more detail, see our Privacy Policy.
